The Royal Talbot is an individual and a new venture. We are an established Hotel, restaurant and bar and a unique venue for dining, celebration parties, business meetings and bespoke events. All of the above is what we are about, and all of this is always provided against a pervading backdrop of quality and style.

The Royal Talbot is different to the norm providing good quality hotel rooms, individually decorated to suit the style of the hotel. The restaurant has been lavishly refurbished with bespoke comfy dining. After dining drinks can be enjoyed in our bar or in our restaurant.

Our hotel, restaurant and bar are ideally located to discover Cornwall. Less than 6 miles to the Eden Project, 12 miles to the Lost Gardens of Heligan and as well as being once the capital of Cornwall, there is to plenty to explore in the Duchy of Cornwall.

Lostwithiel known as the Cornwall’s hidden treasure is also the antique centre of Cornwall with it’s quaint and individual shops offering a diverse culture not seen in many other places.

Oozing with history, Sir John Betjeman is reputed to have said “There is history in every stone in Lostwithiel”. The 13th Century Castle, just one mile away is an excellent ruin to explore with fantastic views across the valley on beautiful sunny days.
