Lostwithiel known as the Cornwall’s hidden treasure is also the antique centre of Cornwall with it’s quaint and individual shops offering a diverse culture not seen in many other places. Oozing with history, Sir John Betjeman is reputed to have said “There is history in every stone in Lostwithiel”. The 13th Century Castle, just one mile away is an excellent ruin to explore with fantastic views across the valley on beautiful sunny days
